No Diet for Today

The Birthday Celebrant

Today was my sister's 13th birthday and the family's complete coz dad came yesterday from Cebu (or from Manila). I'm not sure. Important is he came.

Anyway, today wasn't so special. I just greeted my sister happy birthday over breakfast. She wasn't very enthusiastic about it since dad was using the computer and she wants to use the computer as well.

At around 12nn, I was trying to understand my freakin' take-home Philosophy exam, our 'kasambahay', Amor, knocked on my door, telling me to go take a bath coz the family's going out to lunch. Badtrip pa kasi there's no water until 5pm today. I took a bath sa likod-bahay. Sa may washing machine namin.

Ate was driving. Of course, guided by my very enthusiastic mom and dad. Actually, they didn't have a plan aside from eating out. pero they don't know where. We decided when we were already in bandang Ulas. Pero we get to agree na sa Bigby's sa may bandang Centerpoint Plaza Mall na. So yeah. We decided to have lunch at Bigby's and as per wish by the birthday 'celebrator'.

Pag sabi pa lang ng Bigby's, medyo kinabahan na ako. Bigby's is a very very fine place to dine. You get to eat a lot of good stuff from them. I'm on a diet kaya medyo anxious ako. Kasi I've been controlling my food intake for almost 4 weeks na and all of a sudden pwede siyang masira just with one meal (well, 2 meals actually).

Torres St. Davao City

There are 2 Bigby's branches here in Davao. One is in SM and the other one is at Torres St. We went to Torres St. coz my sister thinks it's more 'sosyal' there to eat than in SM. Besides, it was like my sister's (Kim's) 2nd time to wear a dress.

When we got there, the place was jam-packed with people. Mostly kids. May nag celebrate din ng birthday dun.

Lunch at Bigby's was really fun. Especially because bonding jud mi as family. We were laughing, talking and all that jazz. :D Kim even had a birthday song from the Bigby's staff which was really fun watch. I had it in video. Will be posting it as soon as i figure out how. (lmao)

I had Grilled Rodeo Chops. Hahaha! I knew it right then i'll be eating a lot for today. (I'll be starting a food blog after this post. I'll post everything that we ate today. :D You might be interested. :D)

From Full Plate to Empty Plate

After Bigby's, Dad wants to try desserts. Ate suggested Lachi's. But before leaving Bigby's premises, we have to have our pictures taken. lol. When you have a dad who loves taking pictures, me with my passion on photography and siblings who loves to pose then it boils down to PICTURE TAKING!!! :D Lots and lots of pictures taking. Lmao.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

So after the small photo shoot, we went to Lachi's still with Ate driving. Unfortunately, Lachi's is closed on Sunday. Too bad. They have a variety of sweet, very delicious cakes and other pastries. So instead, we went to Cybergate Robinsons to look for a coffee shop and buy groceries.

After Robinsons, we went to NCCC for more groceries. Yeah. With dad around, we get to have lots and lots of groceries. I dunno why. lmao. But mom still tries to be strict on the budget. My mom will never change. After NCCC, we went to church.

I'm thankful we went to church. I get to thank God for all the blessings that he has showered upon me for the past few weeks. Hahaha! I know. I'll be expecting for opposite of it for the next few days. I believe in whenever you get something good, expect something bad. LMAO
